RTX2018 System Overview

Multi-Level Modulation DECT RF Tester RTX2018

MLM (Multi-Level Modulation) DECT RF Tester RTX2018 - performs all key RF measurements on multi-level modulation products using for example the Dialog 14495 MLM DECT chip. The RTX2018 is the third generation of DECT RF testers on the market and supports all frequency bands – European DECT, North American DECT, Japanese DECT and Korean DECT. The RTX2018 consists of an RTX software application and a Rohde & Schwarz CMW100 (hardware).The RTX2018 allows users to communicate with the DUT (Device Under Test) through UART or USB while performing all the key RF measurements. The comprehensive non-signaling application is well-suited for both R&D and manufacturing.

Modular RF ATE Unit RTX2300 - Smart ATE

Modular RF ATE Unit RTX2300 aka Smart ATE - is a flexible, compact and cost-effective test solution for the functional test of wireless devices. It can be used for test of printed circuit boards as well as for final product testing.

With its combination of embedded instrumentation and optional add-on instrumentation modules, the RTX2300 reduces the complexity, size and cost of an ATE system. The standard embedded instrumentation modules include a digital voltmeter, audio generator, signal multiplexer and GPIO. Optional add-on instrumentation modules are available (see below) can enhance the test capabilities of the RTX2300 whilst reducing the number of separate stand-alone instruments needed in an ATE solution.

The RTX2300 also features a customization area that enables interconnection between internal and external measurement functionality and the Device Under Test (DUT) reducing both space requirements and complexity for the total test system.

The RF-shielded compartment of the RTX2300 can be customized with modular, device-specific test fixtures which can be physically reconfigured to accommodate different products and test types in a matter of seconds. RTX offers fixture kits which allow users to make their own test fixtures for each specific device to be tested. All test fixtures fit snugly into the test fixture bay of the RTX2300 and if also equipped with our quick-swap-kits, can be changed out quickly and effortlessly.  

The RTX2300 is supplied with test application programming guidance in the form of a PC software package, which includes the necessary drivers, supporting Windows applications, DLL - Dynamic Link Libraries, source code (for demo applications only) and API.

The RTX2300 is much more than just a shielded box.
