Your Success Is Our Success – Key Account Management at RTX-T
Just over a year ago, the RTX Group was reorganized into four business units (BU’s) in order to increase market focus, and the optimization of each BU is an important ongoing task. At RTX-T, our customers are a valuable asset because we are highly dependent on their success. A key issue is, therefore, to increase the probability of success; thus matching needs, expectations and products is a central activity in any customer relationship. Furthermore, communication and in-depth understanding of each other’s businesses is also central in a close and fruitful customer-supplier relationship. At RTX-T, we have been working with Key Account Management (KAM) for some time now, but there is always room for improvement in this area. It has, therefore, been decided to increase our focus on KAM and to use this as an integral tool to ensure strong relationships with our most valued customers and partners. As a consequence of this, RTX-T will, in the coming months, launch a number of activities to support this process One of these is “road-map alignment”, which is described in a bit more detail below.
