The main focus in the RF department is the design and development of a compact, cost effective design.

 

Having worked with more than 200 designs, we have a profound experience in high volume production and in designing for manufacturing.

 

The projects completed have spanned many types: From single person RF projects to projects involving more than 10 RF engineers, and from complete design with industrialisation and production support during start-up, to reference designs including chipset verification.

 

We use AWR Microwave Office and CST Microwave Studio for RF simulation. The design is verified using our modern park of instrumentation, and also using automatic test procedures.

 

We have our own anechoic chamber to verify the antennas, and perform emission measurement.

 

We handle the PCB layout within the RF group, as we believe that a good RF knowledge is required to obtain a good RF performance. The layout is in accordance with the IPC standard, but it is also possible to use the standards/design rules of our customers.

 

In all of our technologies we have a close co-operation with at least one of the leading chip-set manufacturers, thus ensuring that an optimum solution is always used.
