New Focused Growth Strategy for RTX A/S

RTX launched an extensive internal development project in January, which is to provide the basis and the strategy for a dramatic improvement in the company’s productivity while at the same time ensuring considerable growth in revenue and earnings over the next two to three years.

RTX Telecom sells wholly owned subsidiary RTX Healthcare

The sale is in line with the focus strategy and turn-around process for RTX Telecom, where it has been decided to divest the group’s telehealth and medico activities and concentrate the efforts on development and production of advanced solutions and products for the professional market for telecommunication.

  
 

Obituary for Jørgen Elbæk

We will all remember Jørgen as a true entrepreneur. Jørgen was one of the driving forces in establishing RTX, and he continuously explored new opportunities for the company. His talent has been a very important factor in building RTX into the renowned international telecommunications company it is today.

  
 

Skill and Technology GAP analysis

The Engineering department has initiated a process that enables them to proactively assess current skills and technologies and determine any gaps in relation to the skills and technologies required by the overall business strategy.

In the international field of software and product development in general, lean and agile processes have been adapted in different varieties, such as the SCRUM project model which RTX Telecom is now in the process of implementing. 

News from RTX Network Systems

 

New Vice President of RTX Network Systems

Jørgen Skov Rosenkilde is the new vice president of RTX Network Systems. He has twelve years of experience in international business development. He is comfortable working in international, fast-paced and dynamic work environments and operates effectively across different cultures.


 

RTX Network Systems in Latin America

RTX Network Systems has a lot of activities going on in Latin and South America. We have founded a company in Brazil ‘RTX do Brazil’ and we have established our own office at the Consulate General of Denmark in São Paulo.


 

RTX Networks Systems at Unified Communications in London

In April 2008, RTX Network Systems attended the Unified Communications Expo in London, where the exhibitors represented a wide segment of the UK’s VoIP operators and a number of product suppliers. RTX Network Systems attended the expo primarily to promote our Hosted PBX solution and to establish initial contacts to “hosted” PBX suppliers in the UK.

  
 

Future Outlook for RTX Network Systems

As part of the strategy process in RTX Networks Systems we have been working with formulating our mission and vision statement, just as we have outlined the future focus area of our Business Unit.

RTX Consumer Products have entered into a partnership with the Hong Kong-based company In-Tech. RTX Consumer Products feels they have found just the right manufacturer of high-end business solution products in InTech.

  
 

New JACOB JENSEN™ Cordless Telephone

A new JACOB JENSEN™ cordless telephone has been developed and manufactured by RTX Consumer Products and Bell Xpress, Denmark. The new model T80 has just received the prestigious design award, Plus X Award in Germany.

  
 

Strong Focus on Small Office VoIP and Enterprise PBX

Despite the name, RTX Consumer Products, we focus on one and only one thing: making top-quality products for brand owners. This has been our focus for a while, and has been emphasized even more during the strategy process we have recently undergone.

DECT IP 

 

New RF Test Platform From RTX Technology

RTX Technology (RTX-T) recently launched a new RF Test Platform for DECT/DECT 6.0/CAT-iq (RTX 2011). In many cases, the Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) CMD60 and CTS60 are used in the RF test process for DECT products, but both of these platforms have now been discontinued, thus creating a gap in the market.

  
 

Highlights From the RTX VIP Seminar 2008

In the fall of 2007, RTX-T decided to start a new tradition – the RTX VIP Seminar – an event where we present new products and meet our most valued customers and partners. For many reasons, we have chosen to align the seminar date with the CeBIT fair and conduct the event at a hotel in the vicinity to the fair grounds.

A high-priority task at RTX-T is strengthening relations with our key customers.
