RTX Network Systems has a lot of activities going on in Latin and South America. We have founded a company in Brazil ‘RTX do Brazil’ and we have established our own office at the Consulate General of Denmark in São Paulo, where Elias Coutinho do Nascimento Papotti and Palle Kjær are working.
Elias is 56 and was born in Rio de Janeiro, where he earned a Bachelor in accounting in 1974. In 1983, he held a position as the head of the human resources department and later as the human resources director for a wholesale company. Since February, Elias has worked with Palle in São Paulo, Brazil to develop the market for RTX in the region.
Palle is 38 and has 15 years of experience in the telecom industry (Sonofon and Esacom in Italy). In August 2007, he started his own consulting firm focusing on telecommunications in Latin America.
In Brazil, there are several potential customers, but at the present there is one that is particularly interesting: a Brazilian teleoperator that wants to roll-out telephony in 39 cities. RTX Network Systems is, therefore, working hard to handle the formalities of getting the test system into the country. Type approval is another main focus area concerning the roll-out of the commercial system.
Furthermore, RTX Network Systems has established a cooperation with Peter Hald, a Dane living in Argentina. Peter’s main job is to establish contact with potential customers in Argentina. Peter is 38 years old and lives in Buenos Aires in Argentina. He has worked for Danish companies in Latin America since 1994, including Martin Professional, where Peter was sales and marketing manager for six years. In 2008, Peter completes his MBA from a local university in Buenos Aires.
