It was with great sadness that the employees and the Board of Directors of RTX Telecom were informed on April 26, 2008 of Jørgen Elbæk’s passing at Aalborg Hospital.

 

We will all remember Jørgen as a true entrepreneur. Jørgen was one of the driving forces in establishing RTX, and he continuously explored new opportunities for the company. His talent has been a very important factor in building RTX into the renowned international telecommunications company it is today.

 

Throughout his career, Jørgen was a highly respected manager who could put together a team and inspire them and our customers to find unique solutions – technically as well as commercially.

 

Jørgen always fought successfully to develop RTX, but in recent years he had to put his energies into fighting disease. Unfortunately, Jørgen lost that battle in April.

 

We will always honor the memory of Jørgen Elbæk.
