New 900 MHz solution from RTX Network Systems
The Wireless IP solution from RTX Network Systems has as its target market operators wanting to provide services in areas yet underserved because of the historically high cost of infrastructure and licenses. The solution is a unique way for fixed-line operators to enable new business, new customers and thereby new revenue in new areas, instead of participating in the never ending direct head to head competition between operators to catch and keep customers.
In the various regions that we are serving with our solution, there are huge differences in the availability of frequency bands where operators can freely offer wireless services for telephony and data. Therefore we have been working on extending the frequency bands supported by our solution, so operators can offer services at a competitive cost.
Today RTX Network System is happy to announce the release of a new product program for the 902-928 MHz frequency band.
The new products are:
RTX 4070 Base Station 900 MHz, new Base Station for outdoor deployment
- 11 voice channels
- Voice capacity 5.8 Erlang
- Optional integrated WiFi (802.11a/g) for wireless broadband data
- Housing: IP55
RTX 4080 Outdoor Repeater 900 MHz
- Extending voice coverage
- 5 simultaneously active channels
- Housing: IP55
RTX 8044 WTLU 900 MHz, new indoor CPE with battery backup and option for external antenna
With this new product family, RTX offers solutions in the frequency bands 902-928 MHz, 1880-1900 MHz and 1910-1930 MHz for wireless telephony/voice and broadband wireless data in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. |
