NEW SUBSIDIARY COMPANY – RTX PRODUCTS A/S

RTX has spun off a subsidiary company called RTX Products A/S, which will focus on the growing number of customers asking for ODM/OEM services from RTX. RTX Products A/S will focus on the definition of new products, have the products developed at RTX Telecom A/S and manufactured at an EMS factory in Europe or Asia, and finally ship box built products to customers. The great advantage to customers is that RTX is now a one stop shop for wireless products with the flexibility of taking a product all the way from concept until the product is delivered at the customer’s warehouse. RTX can even take care of the after sales service and handle the hotline and Internet websites used for customer support. One example is the wireless telephone line extender introduced last year for Foxtel in Australia. Another example is the new Olympia Cordless DUALphone, for which RTX takes care of the whole product life cycle including after sales service and customer support. Many new products are in the pipeline with a focus on being innovative and quick to market. The products mainly use GSM technology for remote sensing applications and VoIP technology for new ways of improving telephony services.
