Low-cost 2.4 GHz/DECT voice and data module

RTX Telecom has developed a cordless voice module (CVM) in close collaboration with National Semiconductor. This efficient, lowcost communication module features both data and voice capabilities. It is an ultracompact, easy-to-use module that has embedded software, baseband and RF section controller for use with DECT/2.4 GHz. The compact size makes the CVM easy to integrate into any application, ranging from cordless phones, headsets and wireless data products to complex wireless networking products that support both data

and voice.

State-of-the-art technology

The CVM incorporates state-of-the-art technology and builds on the core competencies of the two leading DECT/2.4 GHz companies in the world, National Semiconductor and RTX Telecom. The software for the CVM is the reliable, wellproven RTX protocol extended with our brand new application programminginterface (API), which was designed for easy programming.

The hardware was designed using the latest in chips from National Semiconductor for DECT/2.4 GHz products.
