Wireless Engineering Experts - Our History
RTX was established in 1993 by three visionary Danish engineers, all of whom combined considerable experience with a wealth of expertise. In 1994, this group of owners were joined by three other engineers. The Company subsequently grew rapidly and in 1998, RTX received the coveted Danish Årets Vækstvirksomhed award (Growth Company of the Year).
In 1999, RTX built new headquarters in Noerresundby. Within a year, the main division was extended and in April 2000, RTX also established a satellite facility in Denmark's second largest city, Århus.
In May 2001, this expansion was followed by the strategic purchase of the Danish company Penell A/S, providing RTX with access to important additional expertise. Penell changed name in 2003 to RTX Healthcare A/S.
With effect from 1st of January 2006, RTX acquired the Hong Kong based D.R.S. Electronics Ltd, which is now a part of RTX Products Hong Kong Ltd.
RTX is a member of prominent development organisations that include ETSI, DECT Forum, Bluetooth S. I. G. and Norcom.
The high degree of expertise within the company means that RTX is in a position to constantly expand the technological platform on which the development and design of advanced wireless communication equipment is based.
