The IP DECT Controller is a dedicated server with an IP interface (Ethernet) used for controlling a group of base stations, during network load distribution, typically for a city or province. Each DECT Controller consists of a User Agent and multiple CCFP instances that handle up to 3,600 base stations or 40,000 users.
One PC platform can host one or more DECT NWK entities and one UA (for e.g. SIP UA/DECT IWU) entities. The PC operating system is Linux.
