The indoor repeaters extend the DECT indoor range of the IP DECT/WLAN base stations. In addition to increase the indoor range the indoor repeater can ensure seamless call handover from the area covered by the IP DECT/WLAN base station to the area covered by a indoor repeater, and vice versa. When a handset is moving around between indoor repeaters coverage area, it will automatically switch from repeater cell to repeater cell without this being noticed during the telephone call. The indoor repeater has a built-in 6dB gain antenna.
It is possible to have up to two simultaneous conversations via one indoor repeater. All indoor repeaters must be installed within the IP DECT/WLAN base stations coverage area.
